DRIVING   FROM NORTH:  I-95 South over Whitestone Bridge.  After bridge, bear right onto Whitestone Expressway, then bear left onto Van Wyck Expressway (towards JFK Airport) to 495 West (Long Island Expressway).  Get off at Woodhaven Blvd.-Queens Blvd. exit.  Stay in middle lane and get off at 69th Street exit.  Go to light.  Make a left onto 69th Street.  Proceed to Eliot Avenue and make a right onto Eliot Avenue.  Proceed to Fresh Pond Road and make a left onto Fresh Pond Road.  Proceed to Grove Street and make a right onto Grove Street.  Proceed 4 blocks to Fairview Avenue and make a left onto Fairview Avenue.  Proceed 1 ½ blocks.  Gottscheer Hall is on the left.   FROM EAST:  Long Island Expressway (495) West to Queens Blvd.-Woodhaven Blvd. exit.  Follow directions “FROM NORTH” above.   FROM WEST:  Midtown Tunnel to Long Island Expressway (495) East to Maurice Avenue (bear right after tunnel).  Follow Long Island Expressway service road to 69th Street.  Make a right onto 69th Street.  Follow directions “FROM NORTH” above.   FROM SOUTH:  Belt Parkway to Cross Bay Blvd. North exit.  Take Cross Bay Blvd. North for approximately 3 miles (Cross Bay Blvd. will become Woodhaven Blvd.) to Myrtle Avenue.  Make a left onto Myrtle Avenue.  Continue on Myrtle Avenue for approximately 2 miles to Forest Avenue.  Make a right onto Forest Avenue.  Proceed to Grove Street and make a left onto Grove Street.  Proceed 4 blocks to Fairview Avenue and make a left onto Fairview Avenue.  Proceed 1 ½ blocks.  Gottscheer Hall is on the left.     Click here to view map Click here for Driving Directions

SUBWAY   FROM  GRAND CENTRAL STATION  MANHATTAN:    Take the 4 TRAIN (express), 5 TRAIN (express), or 6 TRAIN (local) Downtown to the 14 Street - Union Square Station.  Change to the L TRAIN, Canarsie bound.  Get off at the Myrtle-Wykoff Avenues Station.  Continue via TRAIN, BUS, or WALKING as follows:   Continue via TRAIN -  Change to the M TRAIN.  Get off at the Forest Avenue Station and exit to street.  Walk 4 blocks on Fairview Avenue to Gottscheer Hall.   Continue via WALKING -  At the Myrtle-Wykoff Avenues Station, exit to street at the Gates Avenue exit.  Walk straight and make a right onto Gates Avenue.  Walk 6 blocks and make a left onto Fairview Avenue.  Walking time at a leasurely stroll is 15 minutes.   Continue via BUS -  At the Myrtle-Wykoff Avenues Station, exit to street and transfer to the B13 BUS.  Get off at the corner of Gates and Fairview Avenues, 1/2 block from Gottscheer Hall.
